Based in Stockport, NY, Nicoline (as Silver Ocean Studio) creates journals, sketchbooks, and unique works on commission, produces editions for publishers and artists, and restores bindings. Through all of the different facets of my work, I hope to encourage bibliophiles, readers, and artists to engage fully with books! While all my books look great on the shelf, they will be treasured even more when used and slowly covered with a patina of love. Everything is handbound to be durable. Repairs and rebindings of beloved favorites allow people to keep coming back to the stories they love.
